How does monogramming work?

We often get calls and questions on our monogramming timeline and process. So, here’s how it works! Monogramming takes about two weeks to do. Drop off and pick up happen on Monday mornings. Please note that there will be times our monogramming timeline might be off schedule due to holidays or other outside factors. These times are rare and we’ll do our best to let you know ahead of time if the schedule is different than usual. We do take outside items for monogramming and provide a variety of fonts and colors to choose from.

What’s the process for ordering custom cups, napkins, etc.?

There are quite a bit of decisions to make when it comes to custom napkins, cups, koozies, etc. so it’s best to have some idea of what you’re looking for before coming in. If not, we’re of course more than happy to show you samples and help bring your ideas to life! If you’re creating cups and napkins for a specific event, the sooner you can come in to work with us, the better! We recommend ordering 10-15 business days (2-2.5 weeks) ahead of your event to ensure they arrive in time. Please note custom orders might take additional time especially if a proof is needed.

Can we bring in outside items to have decaled?

Absolutely! However, we recommend NOT bringing in one-of-a-kind, heirloom items that are irreplaceable.

Can we order items online?

At the moment, we do not offer shopping on our website as we really like to create a personalized experience for each of our customers. We do offer phone ordering, FaceTime ordering if you own an iPhone, and (our personal favorite!) in-store shopping. Note: masks are optional.

Are you offering curbside pickup?

If you prefer to have your items delivered to your car instead of coming into the store, we are happy to bring it out to you! Just give us a call when you arrive (512-454-7534), tell us which car you’re in, make sure your trunk or backseat doors are unlocked and/or opened, and we can drop your gifts inside.

Do I have to wear a mask?

Masks are HIGHLY recommended while shopping in store, especially as new variants of COVID have developed, but not required. Thanks for your cooperation while we still battle this pandemic!

Can you give me the elevator pitch about your store?

For 43 years, Personally Yours has been a part of its customers' life events from birth to marriage and back again. Ever changing with the season, we pride ourselves with providing a happy atmosphere and gifts for every occasion.

How does silver engraving work?

We have items for purchase that can be engraved in a matter of 2-3 business days and we have a variety of fonts to choose from. We do not take items not purchased in-store, especially heirloom, irreplaceable pieces. Please note that there will be times our engraving timeline might be off schedule due to holidays or vacations. These times are rare and we’ll do our best to let you know ahead of time if the schedule is different than usual.

What’s the process for ordering wedding invitations?

Susan Parker (Personally Yours owner) is the wedding invitation whisperer! She likes to start the exciting experience with a one-on-one in-store appointment so she can better understand what you’re looking for for your big day. Can we bring in outside items to have engraved?

We do NOT accept outside items to be engraved as most of these items are heirloom items that cannot be replaced if there happens to be an error.

Can we order over the phone?

If you’d like to order something over the phone, which is often for our out-of-town shoppers, or if you’re just not yet comfortable getting out and about yet, we are happy to help you out! We can either do it directly over the phone, especially if you know exactly what you’re looking for, or you can shop with us via FaceTime if you have an iPhone.

Which events do you typically have custom gifts for?

We offer customized gifts for Bid Day (UT and other schools), the Helping Hand Gala, camps like Camp Longhorn, Waldemar, and Mystic, plus many more. Call us if there’s an event happening and you’re interested in purchasing a gift with us or to see if we have something available. We also recommend following us on Instagram and Facebook as we stay super up-to-date with what we have for specific events in Austin.

Of course, we always have special gifts for graduations, camp, weddings, baby gifts, etc., which you can browse on our products page.

What are your store hours?

Due to COVID-19, we have changed our hours to accommodate our schedule and needs. Please see our current hours below:

  • Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays - 10 .m. to 4 p.m.

  • Saturdays - 10-3 p.m.

  • We are CLOSED Wednesdays and Sundays.

What’s your return policy?

No cash refunds. Store credit for returns within 7 days. No returns or exchanges on sale items. All sale purchases are final. All sales on holiday items are final. No returns on special orders.

How does vinyl decaling work?

You can purchase an item in-store to decal (such as tumblers or Scout bags) or bring in an item of your own to have decaled. It takes about a week turnaround time-wise. There are a variety of fonts and colors to choose from. We do take outside items for decaling. Please note that there will be times our decaling timeline might be off schedule due to holidays or vacations. These times are rare and we’ll do our best to let you know ahead of time if the schedule is different than usual.

Can we bring in outside items to have monogrammed?

Yes, you sure can! However, we recommend NOT bringing in one-of-a-kind, heirloom items that are irreplaceable such as Christening gowns.

How does decaling camp trunks work?

We’ve been decaling (used to paint!) camp trunks for years! We have a variety of fonts, colors, and symbols, such as horses, polka dots, stars, etc., for you and your camper to choose from. We also have pictures of sample trunks you can browse through to help you get started. We do not carry trunks in store, but you can bring in your trunk for customization or you can purchase a trunk online. We often have customers purchase trunks from either Amazon or Everything Summer Camp and have it shipped directly to us.

Do you provide gift wrapping?

For items purchased in store, we are happy to offer complementary gift wrapping!

Do you ever have sales?

Yes, we do have sales. Be sure to follow us on Instagram and like us on Facebook as we often post what are sales are and when our sales our happening. Here are some examples of the sales we typically do:

  • Twice a year, we hold Jon Hart trunk shows that include many of their pieces on sale (great graduation and holiday gifts).

  • After holidays, we sometimes put holiday merchandise on sale for 50% off.

  • During the fall, we participate in the American Cancer Society’s annual holiday card where if you purchase a holiday card with us, you’ll get 20% off items. Makes for a GREAT time to stock up on Christmas gifts!

  • Monthly, Embossed Graphics (stationery) has specials and sales going on that we post about on Facebook and Instagram.

  • Feel free to email the store or call us if you’re interested about what sales might be going on!

Are you licensed for all sororities? Do you carry fraternity items?

We are not licensed for all sororities, but we are licensed for quite a few! If you want to confirm we are licensed for a specific sorority, please give us a call at 512-454-7534 or email us at personallyyours.texas@gmail.com. Please note we can NOT monogram or engrave any greek lettering on custom items. We do not carry any fraternity licensed and are not licensed for any fraternities as well.
