Bid Day 2022: Frequently Asked Questions

Every year, we have customized gifts and goodies for Bid Day. To help you understand what we do and what all we have going on during this exciting time of year, we put together an FAQs (frequently asked questions) list so you can get a great gift to your sorority gal! When is Bid Day?
Bid Day is happening this year on Sunday, August 21, 2022!

How do I get my order started before Bid Day?
If you know your gal will be going through rush and want to plan for us to deliver a lil’ something to her on the big day, we can go ahead and take pre-order information from you now so once Bid Day rolls around, your gift will be ready to go. We’ll ask you for your name, phone number, credit card information (we won’t charge it until you call us to confirm the sorority), what items you’re interested in getting, your daughter’s name, which dorm she’s staying in and dorm #, and what you’d like for us to write on the enclosure card. Then, we have an organized system that when Bid Day finally gets here, you just call us with your name and what sorority your daughter has received a bid from, and we’ll then locate your order form and go from there to get her gift ready and delivered.

NOTE: We’re taking orders now so go ahead and give us a call (512-454-7534) if you’d like to get your form started!

Can I order over the phone or does it have to be in person at the store?
Yes, you can order over the phone! We’re ready on actual Bid Day (as well as before or after!) to take orders over the phone. You can call the store directly (512-454-7534). And we will need to get your daughter’s dorm room # and credit card information so it’s best to have those specific items ready when placing your order. Check out our Greek section of our website to see what all we have. Note, we do have additional items in store but they’re not all available for every sorority.

Can I order online?
We do not offer online ordering but you can pre-order items with us over the phone. Give us a call to get your order started: 512-454-7534

What should I do once I find out which sorority my daughter is in?
If you’ve already put a pre-order in, just call us and let us know. We’ll pull your file, get the gift together and send it out for delivery! You may also come on in and shop or give us a call (512-454-7534) to have us start putting together a gift for your gal! If you order over the phone, we can send pictures of items we have via text or we can FaceTime if you have an iPhone, which we will share those phone numbers with you when you call on our store phone line.

Do you do delivery?
We sure do! We offer complementary delivery to Hardin House, SRD, and Callaway House. However, we do not deliver to homes, sorority houses, or apartments.

Do you do flower arrangements?
Yes! We work with an amazing local florist to put together floral arrangements that can go into one of our many containers (such as ceramic sorority vases, Mint Julep cups, stadium cups, etc.). We typically do different colored roses and daisies although that’s subject to change. It is an additional cost of $23-$25. Call us on or around Bid Day to find out what types and colors of flowers we have available.

What if they don’t get a bid?
We have neutral gifts that we can wrap and deliver to your gal! We have some Texas and UT-themed items. Floral arrangements in a container such as a cute water bottle or Swig cup that do not feature a sorority are also fun to help cheer your girl up. We’re happy to chat over the phone (or in-person) about what else we have in store that could make the perfect gift for your sweet girl if they don’t receive a bid.

Can I buy Bid Day gifts for someone who is NOT at UT? And can you ship it for me?

Yep, but we do provide shipping for an additional cost. You can call us with what you’re looking for, we’ll get all of the details to get it to the right place, wrap the gifts, and can take care of all your shipping needs. Easy peasy!

What is your return policy?
You can get store credit for returns within 7 days. No cash refunds. No returns or exchanges on sale items and all sale purchases are final. No returns on special orders (such as custom monogramming, decaling, engraving, or hot stamping).
